F6: European Analogue Camera of the Year 2005 - 2006

Continuing Nikon's tradition of unveiling a new 35mm flagship every eight years, the F6 was announced in October 2004. Its great handling, fast 11-area autofocus, extremely accurate metering and advanced flash photography demonstrate, once again, Nikon's devotion to professional photography.
The official award ceremony will take place in Berlin, Germany on September 1, 2005.
For the F6, the honor of being named European Analogue Camera of the Year 2005 - 2006 adds to an already impressive list of prestigious accolades since its introduction. Japan's Camera Press Club bestowed the camera with the Camera Grand Prix 2005 Special Prize, and the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) named it the Best 35mm SLR Camera in Europe 2005.
