Nikon has issued a service advisory for the D2H, D70 and N55 (F55) SLRs, which relates to the potential failure of certain components within the camera.

In the case of the D2H this can lead to exposure and auto focus errors, in the case of the D70 the camera can completely lock up. The advisory makes it clear that this problem only affects a small number of cameras. Nikon is offering to repair any camera which suffers from these issues at no charge.
