Its working distance of 11 inches at life size is the longest in its class, allowing for the high-magnification photography of subjects which are not always easily approachable by the photographer. It incorporates two Extra-low Dispersion (ED) lens elements and features an Inner Focus (IF) mechanism to improve brightness at the edges of the image field even when shooting at close range.
